Getting back to nature using ritual

In the book ‘woman who run with the wolves’ by …which I will fervently refer back to often she states ‘Ritual is one of the ways in which humans put their lives in perspective, whether it be Purim, Advent or drawing down the moon. Ritual calls in the shades and specters in people’s lives, sorts them out and puts them to rest’.

Ritual is the passing on of knowledge, whether from our ancestors, elders or deep within us. I want to intertwine this into my life and business, as this is how we carry wisdom and transfer knowledge to future generations.

It carries ancestral understanding.

As we grow and adapt to the world we use ritual to create and hold spaces for the past, present and future. Ritual is ceremony; it can be the effortlessness of brushing your hair in the morning, delving into a hug with a lover, life/death/life cycles, repetitive writing, song, dance, constantly celebrating every grief and rebirth. Many cultures believe that they can use ritual to communicate and connect with higher beings that guide us through this life.

My personal modern take on this is to intertwine ritual as a way to care for yourself. Slow down,

Breathe,

Do everything with intention.

As a holistic practitioner my intention is to guide you to find your own rhythm of ritual, in your morning routine, the way you put yourself to bed, the way you prepare and eat nourishing meals and service your body and mind.

I find my passion in helping people find a ritual and routine to interlace into their lives to achieve balance and pivotal health.
